Why not walk from Glasgow to Fort William?
It’s only 100 miles and you don’t have to do it in one day 🙂

You can even make use of a baggage carrier who carries your big pack and all you need to carry is a day pack.
It’s a lovely walk, can be taxing in places, but is a great way to see the countryside.
